Benchmarking

A process which has proven itself extremely helpful in verifying opportunities for operation improvement is the practice of performance benchmarking. Purvin & Gertz has used its experience gained through its Refinery Performance Management (RPM) refinery benchmarking process to develop similar processes tailored to meet the needs of mid-stream operators including gas gathering and treating, NGL extraction, and fractionation. By benchmarking current facility performance against industry leaders, targets can be set, action plans developed and monitoring programs implemented to secure the continuous improvement necessary to remain competitive in today's environment.

Mergers & Acquisitions

We frequently help buyers and sellers in completing mergers and acquisitions. Through our comprehensive knowledge of the energy industries, we are able to identify potential acquisitions and determine synergies and cost saving possibilities of combining the enterprises.

We can evaluate each acquisition candidate on the basis of competitive position, expected earnings and major risks. During these evaluations, we will work with financial institutions involved in the acquisition process and help provide them with a clear understanding for their analyses.
