Purvin & Gertz is pleased to announce its 14th Annual Latin America LPG Seminar to be held on November 3-6, 2008 at the Sheraton Rio Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, home of the largest LPG market in South America.

Purvin & Gertz experts and respected industry leaders from Latin America will convene at this event and address key issues facing today’s LPG industry in the region. “We take pride in providing attendees a great educational experience, one that includes in-depth market analysis and coverage of the most important issues facing our great industry,” said Craig Whitely, Senior Principal and Seminar Director. This year’s seminar will feature presentations addressing pertinent topics that affect the Latin American LPG industry. Despite recent drops in international energy prices, the Latin America LPG industry continues to be challenged by high international oil and LPG prices, which have had a negative impact on LPG growth rates in end-user markets for the past 3 years. At the same time, the LPG industry has displayed a remarkable ability to cope with the high prices in many ways. Although growth rates have been depressed, there are very few global examples of shrinking LPG markets during these difficult times.

In conjunction with the LPG Seminar, Purvin & Gertz will also conduct three optional workshops that are designed for anyone requiring greater knowledge about the market structure, language, key concepts and issues of the LPG Industry.
